Call for Submissions

Eating the Other

MEME GIRLS is pleased to announce our first zine, Eating the Other,

a collection inspired by bell hooks’ essay of the same title. We are

seeking work by writers and artists of colour, which explores how we

may navigate white consumption, objectification, exoticization, and

fetishization. We’re accepting all forms of two-dimensional visual art,

as well as short form written pieces.
